- Communicate daily with Team Leads and Coordinators to ensure execution of work
- Drive sales initiatives in coordination with service and national sales teams.
- Execute assigned work orders at or better than expected results.
- Deliver a service meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Follow and adhere to all Schneider Electric’s safety, operational and HR policies.
- Responsible for customer satisfaction NPS on site
- Create Opportunity notification following the companies processes and install base tracking.
- Be able and willing to travel to customer sites including after regular working hours and Weekends/Holidays
- Medium and Low Voltage Switchgear
- Medium Voltage Terminations
- Protection relays
- Control systems and PLC
- LV Drives
- Metering solutions
- Transformer testing Timely completion of customer reports, timesheets, expenses and updating Work Orders.
- Journeyman Red Seal Electrician Certificate or Electrical Engineering Technologist
- 3+ years of field service repair, commissioning, upgrades, and customer service experience within the Electrical Distribution service field.
- Electro-mechanical or other electronics related equipment knowledge a strong asset.
- Experience working on utilities, mining & mineral, oil & gas sites is an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical field service industry
- Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
- Experience with protection principles & testing of relay protection schemes.
- Experience in networking and communication protocols an asset.
- Experience with Drives, HMI, PLC and industrial automation and control is an asset
- Knowledge of North American standards applicable to LV & MV equipment.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills are a must
- Computer literacy with standard business applications; MS Office, Protection relay software.
- Complete competence at utilizing test and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, temperature probes, and other electronic test devices.
- Characteristics include self-starter, team player, punctual, personal and professional integrity, trainable, problem solver, organized, professional appearance, flexible, customer oriented, and safety oriented.
- Capable of displaying appropriate safety techniques and practices associated with job requirements
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to customer questions.
- May be required to perform the following tasks, but not limited to: repetitive lifting/carrying; pushing/pulling; standing; climbing; squatting; bending; kneeling; or driving extended distances.
- Ability to lift up-to 75lbs.
- Frequent travel to customer sites is required
