Job Description:
Our client is a well-established admissions counseling institution and we are recruiting an experienced Director of Ivy College Admission Counseling to join their Dubai head office.
The successful candidate will be accountable for leading student recruitment, outreach and admissions strategy to accelerate student enrollment for top-tier US and Canadian colleges and universities.
Role Summary
- Create and lead college and university readiness programs to achieve high volume of successful student placements in US and Canadian higher education institutions.
- Develop, implement and manage proprietary curriculum that enable students to develop their leadership, business, community and personal skills in preparation for personal statements and resumes.
- Develop and lead engaging workshops for students and parents to learn more about the institute’s services and benefits.
- Lead the hiring and onboarding of student counselors.
- Manage and develop a team of education counselors.
- Periodically enhance and improve entrance application processes.
- Collaborate with the admissions test preparation team.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 10+ years’ strong college admission counseling experience gained partially in the US or Canada with demonstrable experience in accelerating student outreach and enrollment management.
- Ability to work closely with students and parents and provide a personalized service to guide them through the execution of the application process.
- Ability to develop strong learning missions and environments.
- Strong knowledge of the US higher education system and admissions process.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Education
Degree from an Ivy College or premium top-tier US university – mandatory requirement.
Master’s degree is a strong advantage.
Candidate Profile
Fluency in English is mandatory.
