What a Associate Engineer does at HP:

• The Associate Process Engineer will own process module(s) and will be responsible to sustain and/or improve process module yield, utilization, cycle-time and quality with the consultancy from process engineer.
• Participate or lead project that focus on process improvement, cost reduction, Industrial 4.0, factory automation and manufacturing process development and manufacturing line relocation program.
• 3-months On job training under the mentorship of process engineer.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• Diploma in Engineering, preferably with minimum 2 years of technician or engineering experience.
• Ability to interpret and apply process/manufacturing management tools like statistical process control / design of experiment. Familiar with Change Management process and Problem-Solving process (8D etc.)
• Ability to interpret 2D technical drawing/ 3D CAD technical drawings. Familiar with mechanical designs.
• Knowledge in process troubleshooting (relating to manual/auto processes, e-test, robotics, adhesive dispensing, laser welding, PLC, wire bonding, leak test and contamination control) is preferred.
• Experience in industrial 4.0 (smart manufacturing) is preferred. 
• 2-3 months business travel to US may be expected for upcoming transfer program.
