Job Description:
Our client is a global financial services trading platform and they are expanding their presence in the UAE.
We are recruiting an android developer who can create Android mobile applications for financial trading transactions in Agile, Scrum and Kanban environments to join their team in Dubai.
Candidates with experience in digital wallets, digital payments, FinTech, financial services, FOREX, FX trading software development will have a strong advantage.
Role Summary
- Build prototypes and implement new features.
- Design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”.
- Fix bugs and improve current Android applications.
- Develop client-service applications - RESTful API
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Kotlin, RxJava / RxKotlin, RxAndroid, MVI, Dagger 2, Protobuf, Firebase, WebSocket, GIT.
- Android SDK, Android Studio, different versions of Android, Native App and how to configure for different screen sizes.
- Git version control system
- OOP and software design patterns
- WebSocket
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Flutter and Dart
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML is a plus
Candidate Profile
- Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to work in Sharjah.
- Fluent in English.
- Professional appearance, style of communication and interpersonal skills
Education
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology
