WhatsApp is looking for an exceptional individual to serve as Product Marketing Manager for our business and commerce products. Please contact us if you know how to navigate business and product strategy and commercialization, have a strong bias towards action and rolling up your sleeves to get things done, and want to unlock WhatsApp's potential in serving millions of businesses. To be successful in this role, you will identify key market requirements/opportunities, manage our go-to-market plans, and coordinate cross-functional teams to provide great solutions to our customers and community members. You will do this in close partnership with several other functions, including Product Management, Engineering, PR, and Partnerships. This is a full-time global position based with the WhatsApp team based in London.
Product Marketing Manager, Business (WhatsApp) Responsibilities:
- Promote inbound product marketing by conducting market research, competitive analysis, quantitative analyses, and direct engagement with businesses.
- Develop go-to-market strategy and execution, including alpha-beta testing, messaging and positioning, launch strategy, and scaling adoption.
- Launch products in the market and drive adoption of products with a global cross-functional team
- Demonstrate ability to communicate large-scale concepts, including leadership briefings
Minimum Qualifications:
- An advanced degree in technology or internet technology, digital marketing, product development, or strategy consulting.
- Extensive experience working cross-functionally
- Demonstrated experience partnering with the Product Management and Engineering teams
- Analytical and data-driven decision maker
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with businesses in emerging markets
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree
