Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc., a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, has an opening for an Associate Engineer for New Product Introduction (NPI) in Jacksonville, Florida. As The Associate Engineer, You Will:
- Conduct lab-scale and pilot-line process characterizations for early-stage products and processes.
- Create and execute strategies for scaling up new products and processes on commercial manufacturing platforms.
- As part of your work, you will make use of process development principles to support corrective actions, improvements, and risk management.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of equipment/processes and utilize statistical tools to validate improvements.
- Conduct experiments, solve problems, use modeling, and make decisions to characterize and enhance processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or Material Science required. Near or new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- 0-2 years of work experience in related field
- Manufacturing and engineering internship experience is preferred.
- Collaboration with a multifunctional team.
- Engineering knowledge, understanding, and application.
- Strong digital literacy, including Windows Office.
- Travel up to 10% both domestically and internationally.
- Communication skills both written and oral must be excellent.
- A strong organizational and interpersonal skillset is required.
