This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade complex instruments.
- Various engineering tasks will be assigned to you
- Your involvement will contribute to improving and further developing our products through knowledge exchange with our R&D team
- Working with electrical and mechanical devices, electrical wiring, fluidics components, schematics and technical drawings, you will troubleshoot, assemble, and retrofit prototypes.
- Assist in conducting engineering-related studies, processes, designs, inspections, and/or quality audits, as well as collecting, recording, and maintaining engineering-specific information.
This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to develop your career with Healthineers:
- Diagnostic Healthcare instrumentation is familiar to you.
- If you have worked in an FDA-regulated field,
- You know how to use Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- When troubleshosystems-oriented approach to troubleshooting, including the ability to distinguish between hardware, software, and system issues.
- You are expected to be willing to travel, including short-term international assignments
- You are capable of working with your customers to resolve instrument issues.
- Your presentation skills are excellent in a customer environment, as well as your team-building and communication skills.
Required skills to have for the success of this role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, or Biomedical engineering
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a system troubleshooter, working in an R&D environment
- Experience with Siemens Healthcare Diagnostic equipment
- Willing to travel up to 20%, including international travel.
