JR1111 Device Engineer (Evergreen)
Micron Technology, Inc.'s Device Engineering department identifies quality and reliability challenges with high-performance CMOS devices and implements solutions to these challenges. To achieve best in class quality, you will collaborate with manufacturing fabs and the product quality team to develop, implement, and monitor wafer level quality indicators. The role requires an understanding of Advanced CMOS Device Engineering, Semiconductor Process Integration, Semiconductor Device reliability, and Statistical Quality Control.
Responsibilities:
- Identify quality and reliability challenges and develop solutions for high performance CMOS devices.
- Within the scope of product qualification, understand failure modes and failure rates.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring quality indicators to achieve best-in-class quality.
- Organize, schedule, and lead quality improvement initiatives to improve key quality indicators to best-in-class levels
- At every decision point within the qualification cycle, perform a risk assessment.
- Fixing quality and reliability issues by identifying the root cause of deviations and engaging the problem-solving team
- Expertise and support for Excursion material disposition
- Collaborate with R&D to deploy new technology nodes.
Qualifications:
- An Electrical Engineering or Material Science or Microelectronics degree or PhD with 5+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of Advanced CMOS Device Engineering, Process Integration, and Statistical Quality Control.
- An understanding of 28nm logic or beyond is a plus.
- Understanding of Intrinsic Reliability Failure Mechanisms and product failure modes.
- Project management and problem-solving skills are excellent.
