Job Description Summary
As a Field Engineer in Bismarck, ND, you will perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on our life-changing medical equipment for imaging modalities. Responsibilities:
- Preventative maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting of medical equipment within a hospital or healthcare system to ensure optimal patient care.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining relationships, engaging in timely communication, resolving issues, and following up.
- To ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met, comply with company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols; ensure all work performed is documented, including the ordering of parts.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED and 4 or more years of experience servicing electronic equipment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 35 pounds. Bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time without assistance. Also must be able to reach above and below shoulder level, flex and extend the neck, and have good hand and finger dexterity.
- Driver's license in good standing.
- Work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends, and be available after hours.
