These are the things that matter most to us. As a Service Engineer, you will be part of the Siemens Healthineers team.

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade complex instruments.
  • Assist with a variety of engineering tasks
  • You will be working with our R&D team to improve and further develop our products
  • You will assist in troubleshooting, assembling, and retrofitting prototypes, as well as working with electrical and mechanical devices, electrical wiring, fluidics components, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Engineering-related studies, processes, designs, inspections, and/or quality audits will be handled by you, including gathering, recording, and maintaining engineering-specific information.

  • Diagnostic Healthcare instrumentation is familiar to you.
  • Your work has been regulated by the FDA,
  • You are proficient in MS Office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • You are able to differentiate between hardware, software, and system problems through your "systems approach" to troubleshooting.
  • It is expected that you are willing to travel, including short-term international deployments
  • You are able to work with your customers to resolve instrument issues.
  • You demonstrate excellent presentation skills in the customer environment, as well as team orientation, communication skills, and customer orientation
Required skills to have for the success of this role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, or Biomedical engineering
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a system troubleshooter, working in an R&D environment
  • Experience with Siemens Healthcare Diagnostic equipment
  • Willing to travel up to 20%, including international travel.
