Job Description:
A changing workplace environment and new business demands have prompted Digital Catapult to expand its audio-visual capabilities. Due to these changes and growing demands, we are now looking for an experienced Audio-Visual Engineer who is able to provide support for our existing infrastructure and team and help us continue to improve. What We’re Looking For
- Experience running hybrid, physical, and virtual events on a variety of platforms
- Experience with video switching technologies, including Crestron, Dante, Dexon, and Blackmagic
- Ability to troubleshoot and correlate problems in a complex IP audio visual network
- Work as an audio-visual point of contact within the company and relay key information back to IT management
- Knowledge of new and current developments in the audio-visual events industry
- Supporting junior members of the team and helping them to grow in their role.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the audio-visual network within the Catapult, including the auditorium, meeting rooms, and our online collaboration tools.
- Provide audiovisual support for high profile hybrid, virtual, and physical events
- Mentoring other members of the AV team to assist with the running of events
- Support architectural design and continuous improvement of audio-visual capabilities
- Updating and improving existing audio-visual documentation
- Maintain a high level of service for internal and external events
- Ensure good working relationships with 3rd party suppliers and serve as a main point of contact
