Job Description:
As a MuleSoft Developer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering Anypoint Platform based development projects utilizing API-driven design, messaging patterns, and application development best practices. Ideal candidates should have experience with one or more enterprise integration tools such as TIBCO, MuleSoft, Oracle Fusion, Dell Boomi, etc. A candidate should have good knowledge of software development lifecycle, messaging patterns, endpoint security, interfaces with internal and external applications, and database knowledge. Furthermore, candidate should be able to drive the full cycle of project development leading to business objectives and value realization.
Tasks:
- To meet the information technology and business requirements, the developer will analyze and develop Integration and Interoperability domain architecture.
- Translates business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications
- Partners with other IT functions to ensure collaboration, consistency, and quality of solutions (PM, BA, EA, Security, Operations)
- Establish the high-level design of integration solutions and advise implementation teams on which Mule components and patterns to use in the detailed design and implementation
- Create Mule applications for any of the available deployment options of the Anypoint Platform runtime plane
- To ensure quality, apply standard development methods covering the full development lifecycle (project preparation, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support)
- Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational aspects of integration solutions on Anypoint Platform
- Create reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects
- Assures that self and development team adhere to documented design and development patterns and standards
- Supports business-critical integration solutions and the integration environment, including off-hours support
- Establishes and maintains Enterprise Integration Solution Architecture including SOA and ETL concepts and capabilities
- Maintains consistency and quality of solutions by working closely with other Solution Architecture/Designers
- Provides continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advancements.
- Comprehends, understands, and clarifies complex business requirements
- Demonstrates Appirio's Vision, Values, and Culture in every interaction with team members, clients, and stakeholders
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, or management information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- It is desirable to hold at least one active MuleSoft Developer Certification
- Experience developing integration solutions for 3-5 years
- MuleSoft experience of 3+ years
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and API strategy
- Good experience with Anypoint Platform, Flow Design, and API Design. CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, API Management, EDI Integration, Dataweave
- Experience developing, deploying, and managing flows using Anypoint Studio and CloudHub
- Knowledge of MuleSoft's different offerings
- Experience with MuleSoft integrations and Salesforce
- Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint connectors from third parties
- Integration experience with Salesforce
- MuleSoft On-Premises and Cloud experience
- Knowledge of message queue design patterns
- Exprience integrating cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDKs, packaged applications, and legacy applications
- Experience designing, developing, securing, and managing APIs via API gateways and proxy servers
- Located and able to work from a home office in the U.S. (or Canada) and able to travel 40% of the time post COVID.
