Job Description:

Associate Tech Support

Our US team is growing by hundreds this year. It is an exciting time to join our team because we not only invest in your technology training upon onboarding, but we continue to do so throughout your tenure at Infosys. With our Leadership Institute program, we offer mentorship programs, continuing education courses, and leadership training.

As a Tech Support Associate, you will support consulting and technical teams at various stages of software development. Assist the team by providing production and maintenance support, identifying root causes of issues, and ensuring high quality and on-time customer service. In this position, you will contribute to the knowledge management process by interacting with internal teams and improving efficiency.

The following qualifications are basic:

• A high school diploma and a minimum of two years of work experience are required
• Computer skills exposure
• Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
• America Citizens and foreign nationals authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. At this time, we are unable to sponsor.
• Positions are available across multiple locations in the United States, including Indianapolis IN, Raleigh NC, Hartford CT, Richardson TX, and Scottsdale AZ. Candidates must live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area. Travel and/or relocation are possible requirements for this position.

Qualifications preferred:

• Knowledge of programming languages, networks, and infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
• Analyze data and communicate ideas clearly

Among the responsibilities are:

• Participate in the design and detailing of processes related to software development
• Troubleshoot issues, document procedures, review checklists, and develop reference implementations
• Monitor applications, batch jobs, servers, network devices, databases, operating systems, raise and acknowledge tickets
• Work with the technical team to ensure a smooth go-live of new processes, products, or systems
• Document the existing system and processes
• Document the process of support and maintenance through reverse knowledge transfer
• In addition to the above, depending on the areas of responsibility, such as application development, infra support, cyber support, Microsoft Office, and service now, related areas will apply

Working at a computer for extended periods of time requires prolonged sitting. Communication should be possible via telephone, email, or face-to-face. Depending on the job requirements, travel may be required.
