Job Description:
What the role is
As part of our efforts to increase market coverage and accelerate compressor technique service business growth in the region, we are recruiting two field service engineers.
- Project and promote our core objective of "First in Mind-First in Choice"
- Maintain a strong relationship with local customers, resolving customer problems in a timely manner to provide high quality, timely service.
- Predictable machine performance and results.
- Work involves machine repair, preventive maintenance, overhauls of compressors, compressed air dryers, commissioning of compressors, compressed air systems, and compressor management systems.

Requirements for experience
- Experience installing and operating compressors and compressed air systems.
- Minimum two years of hands-on experience with all types of compressors: pistons, screws, centrifugals, single stage and multistage.
- Experience with high-pressure piston compressors and boosters is considered an added value.
- Experience with compressed air dryers, refrigerated twin tower desiccant, and relative dew point dryers.
- Excellent understanding of electrical ladder logic diagrams and main motor controls as an added value.
- Experience with IR, Compair, and Keaser compressors is considered beneficial
- Knowledge of pressure swing adsorption (PSA)
- Experience working with adsorption dryers.
- It is desirable to have experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens controllers.
- Knowledge of basic compressed air engineering practices is required
- Must have a good understanding of various pressure, temperature, position, and level instrumentation, as well as its function and calibration
- Be familiar with machine fits, gearing tolerances, and main drive alignment as a millwright
- Ability to make quick drawings for fabrication, machining, or modification
- Work well with Microsoft products
- Ability to write short, concise, detailed technical service reports
- Ability to weld with gas or electricity
- Fluent in English, reading and writing.
- Education requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical, instrumentation, refrigeration, or mechanical engineering is required.
- A recognized diploma in refrigeration, hydraulics, or pneumatics

- Independent, able to work with little or no supervision
