How will your job look?
- You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical specifications.
- You will follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology, and release processes to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable, and demo software products to stakeholders.
- You will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, providing fixes and workarounds, and reviewing changes to maintain existing software solutions.
- Participate in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross-functional teams to achieve goals as part of a team.
- During solution design for new requirements, you will assume technical responsibility for your specific work products within an application.
- You will be encouraged to actively seek innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency in all your tasks.
- Degree in Science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent
Experience: 1-5 years
The following technical skills are essential:-- Java (1.7/1.8), J2EE, PLSQL, SQL, Unix Scripting, Maven, and JUnit developer.
- Exposure to Web servers such as WebLogic
- Understanding of automation frameworks like Rest, SOAPUI for webservices and other application automation is a plus
- Knowledge of coding standards and methodologies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent as per Amdocs guidelines)
- You will be required to design and develop new software applications.
