Sodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) II for an opportunity at Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, California.

To fill this position, we are seeking solution-oriented candidates with proven success as a BMET II. Sodexo's BMET professionals have:
Experience servicing clinical equipment and formal training preferred
- Experience working in a healthcare facility
- Experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical equipment including infusion pumps, defibrillators, patient monitors, nurse-call systems, and neonatal warmers.
- Ability to troubleshoot with proactivity
- Provides world-class health care services and strong customer service skills
- The candidate must be flexible in driving to other campus locations to provide support

Troubleshoots, inspects, repairs, maintains and calibrates a comprehensive range of clinical equipment, devices, systems and instruments.
Key Duties
-Maintain, repair, and calibrate equipment and systems
-Ensures regulatory compliance
-Provides advanced equipment support for direct patient care
-Interacts regularly with clinical health providers to identify technology-based problems and solutions
Resolves complaints and issues at the organizational level
-Preparation of required documentation and reports
-Exhibits a safety mindset
Purchase and maintenance of parts on a financial basis
-Trains and mentors staff members
