The position is a Professional, Business Development- Polycom, who will drive and improve vendor sales while meeting company and vendor objectives. You will manage all layers of the sales channel and increase product depth and market share for all tiers. Maintaining current business relationships, improving inactive accounts, and seeking out new business opportunities will be your priorities. Throughout the year, you will be aware of all project bids and Ingram Micro's involvement in them.
What will you do?
- The relationships you build with key personnel in assigned partner accounts will be productive and professional.
- Ensure that various company personnel are involved in meeting partner performance objectives and partners' expectations, such as support, service, and management resources.
- You will reach assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
- Lead the joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a productive partnership.
- On an ongoing basis, you should proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs.
- In coordination with partner sales resources, you will sell to end users through partner organizations.
- In order to manage channel conflict with other firms' sales channels, you will foster excellent communication internally and externally, as well as strictly follow channel rules of engagement.
- Lead the development of solutions that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all required company and partner staff.
- Partner agreements will be enforced by you.
- You will encourage partners to adopt company programs.
Which talent do you bring?
- You have 3-5 years' experience in IT sales and business development.
- You have experience selling Polycom or similar AV products.
- With a strong drive for results, you are enthusiastic and results-driven.
- As a self-starter, a team player, and self-motivated individual, you are a great fit.
- Using their relationships to drive results, you demonstrate a strong 'customer-first' mentality.
