Short Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analysis of requirements, design of high level test plans, and development of test strategies from data and functional testing in collaboration with key technology and business stakeholders.
• Interacting with various client/vendor stakeholders and onshore/offshore Infosys teams for Data / Testing activities such as creation, execution, and defect tracking
• Developing utilities to increase the productivity of validation activities for our clients
• Other tasks that may be required to ensure timely execution of the program
• Creating / presenting status reports to the client and Infosys stakeholders
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Managing the project from beginning to end
• Independently handling the project
• Mentoring offshore teams about client expectations

Skills /Competencies:

• 5+ years of experience of data warehouse and database concepts.
• Extensive experience developing test plans and test cases for data integration and the enterprise's business.
• Advanced skills in SQL queries, stored procedures, and test scripting to delete, define, load, and merge data.
• A thorough understanding of ETL development tools.
• Experience testing BI reports
• Testing experience with multiple DB systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL).
• Ability to classify source data to identify data sets to be used for functional testing on migrated data.
• Knowledge of Python is a must
• Automating validation scenarios is a must
• Extensive knowledge of software testing lifecycles
• Should be familiar with data migration strategies for CLOUD scenarios; Azure blob storage, Snowflakes
• Understanding of the SCRUM/Agile methodology
• Communicate effectively with developers, database designers, and data engineers in a large team environment.

Essential:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

Preferred:

• Good to have telecom domain experience

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
