About the Company:
Bright Health’s Product Manager will operate on a core domain within Bright’s Data Platform to support the creation of products for Bright Health Group, Bright HealthCare, and NeueHealth. In this role, you will work with stakeholders across the organization to distill common needs, establish executable requirements, and build useful features. To support the full life cycle of product development, collaboration will include fellow product owners, engineers, project managers, business analysts, market managers, and operations. Technical platforms and infrastructure are critical to realizing our mission, and the Product Manager will play a leading role in determining how best to use technical resources to support Bright Health’s efforts to revolutionize the payer industry.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Align business stakeholders on product strategy and functionality
  • Establish Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that align business needs with technical design.
  • Driving the product development cycle for features and improvements from conception to post-launch optimization
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement by understanding end users and data
Education, Training  & Professional Experience:
  • BA/BS degree in a business or technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with SQL, relational databases, and data management
  • MS Excel experience analyzing data
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience building complicated features in a product role for at least one (1) year
  • You must be able to draw your own conclusions from the data
  • Knowledge of agile, cross-functional environments
  • Knowledge of healthcare is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to deconstruct complex systems based on first principles
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex topics in a simple manner
  • Fluent with querying data and able to find complex answers / patterns independently
  • Being able to balance the tension between getting things done quickly and building scalable systems
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and excellent project management skills
  • Understanding of typical software development processes
  • Demonstrate excellent decision-making skills by engaging experts and synthesizing information, generating insights, and devising solutions
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, mutual respect, and accountability to others; ability to maintain strong relationships across key stakeholders and constituents
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work well under pressure
  • Travel up to 25% of the time if not located in Austin, TX
