The Role:

As a Data Scientist/ML Engineer you will be responsible for supporting our clients on data-driven insights and working closely with colleagues across all regions to identify cases of data science. The successful candidate will bring a good knowledge of analytics and AI and a great grasp of digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with colleagues from different departments to identify use cases for data science that adds value to our business and our clients
• Support the development of daily client deliverables and analysis of client data requiring analytics and data science expertise
• Support the development of new business proposals for clients, with a special focus on the analytics work streams
• Several tasks including data extraction, preparation, cleaning, analyses, visualizations, reports, and more are carried out as part of the digital team.
• Presenting complicated data science and analytics aspects in simple PowerPoint formats to make them easier to understand
• Utilize insights/datasets/code/models across clients
• Develop prototypes and proofs of concept based on your research.

Education and Experience:

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science (preferably with knowledge of digital communications)
• Understanding of the basics of statistics and hypothesis testing
• Programming knowledge (preferably Python or R)
• Knowledge of data science and AI/machine learning/NLP algorithms (e.g., linear regression, Doc2Vec, transformers, etc.).
• Development of front-end web applications using React
• Understanding of post/get/REST API/post methods, etc., as well as basic web development principles.
• Fluency in Arabic and English would be an advantage
• Three years is the minimum, and six years is the maximum.
