- Based on the current workbase (Pharmacy), the incumbent's role and responsibilities will remain the same.
- Manage Pharmacy team to achieve all assigned financial goals, operational, and customer service metrics, and ensure that sales targets are achieved in the assigned pharmacies.
- Ensure that shop floor employees are properly trained and coached in customer service excellence, and that they are highly motivated to provide exceptional customer service. Follow up on all customer service issues as needed.
- Responsible for staffing all outlets in the area.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Assessing weekly store sales reports and reviewing store audits to determine the team's performance. Developing action plans to improve performance.
- Training other medical personnel in pharmacy matters.
- Communicates with pharmacy customers and treats them
- Effectively collaborates with other healthcare employees, managers, and departments.
- Compliance with local drug regulatory laws in the country of operation like the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Food and Drug Administration by monitoring nursing unit inspections, supervising support staff's work results, keeping current registration, studying new and existing legislation, anticipating legislation, and advising management on needed actions.
- Monitors infection-control protocols in all pharmacies.
- Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work environment in pharmacies.
- Participates in educational workshops, reviews professional publications, establishes personal networking, and belongs to professional societies to maintain pharmacological knowledge.
- Supporting the pharmacy division. Achieving the revenue budget and GP% target
- Driving best sales practices within the division, implementing sales and marketing activities in pharmacies, monitoring their performance, and reporting in order to meet budgets
- Maintain Group policies and standards; ensure alignment with group strategy
- Ensure that all pharmacists provide outstanding customer service to all clients visiting pharmacies.
- To achieve excellent ratings for the pharmacies empanelled in the Dubai Economic Department's DSES scheme.
- Communicating better with the clinic team, collaborating and coordinating
- Ensure optimum manpower allocation in order to achieve the business objectives
- Monitoring staff performance and coming up with improvement plans
- Make yourself the pharmacy domain expert and the "go-to" person for anything related to retail pharmacies
- To conduct coaching workshops with the business to share best practices
- Working with other departments and divisions of the organization to identify any process improvements and to improve standards and efficiency.
- Whenever possible, monitor usage and create SOPs
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacology from a recognised institution.
- UAE License or Eligibility as a clinical pharmacist.
- Fluency in English (speak, read and write).
- Arabic speaking skills will be an added advantage.
- Excellent computer literacy skills are required.
- Minimum 2+ years experience as pharmacy in-charge.
- Presentation and analytical skills are excellent
