Customer Success and Growth (CSG) at Salesforce is responsible for onboarding, customer support, professional services, training, partner certification, and maintaining long-term relationships with Salesforce customers. Through cutting edge data products and deep data science & modeling, the Customer Intelligence (CI) group at CSG creates data-driven intelligence on customers' usage and engagement that is used by customers to leverage the world's best CRM platform.
The Team:
Salesforce's Customer Success and Growth (CSG) organization's Data Science Solutions team creates data science products that drive customer success. To provide actionable insights supporting business decision making, the team collaborates with executives, success managers, sales, and renewal managers across CSG.
Engineers with experience in building production-level machine learning applications are sought. The role offers you a range of opportunities to deal with business/technical challenges, create machine learning models, design/automate/deploy production machine learning pipelines. We are seeking a passionate, innovative person to join our team to build intelligent products and services for our internal teams as well as our external customers. Because we share a passion for problem solving, new technologies, and learning, you will be encouraged to explore new technologies and come up with innovative solutions that could expand the team's data science and machine learning engineering capabilities.
Requirements:
In detail, you will:
- Managing large amounts of unstructured and structured data.
- Analyze and interpret business data in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
- To generate actionable insights, apply complex analytical techniques.
- Apply data science to the design and implementation of applications.
- Build, automate, deploy, and maintain machine learning pipelines.
- Implement a model lifecycle management framework for machine learning.
- To monitor model performance month over month, identify drivers, and provide recommendations for improving model performance
- Develop insight-based feature stores in collaboration with other Salesforce teams.
- To communicate process and results, prepare technical reports and documentation
Qualifications:
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field with project experience in machine learning and statistical modeling
- Experience building data science applications and machine learning pipelines for 2-4 years.
- Knowledge of one or more SQL languages: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, etc.
- Working knowledge of at least one scientific programming language or package, such as Python or R
- Experience with at least one programming language: Python, Java, C++, etc.
- Understanding of common machine learning and statistics frameworks and concepts
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing, cloud computing, and large data sets.
- A lot of people want to learn about MLOps.
- Automation tools like Airflow experience is a plus
- Salesforce experience/certification is a plus, but not essential.
