A first step in a long history driven by speed and performance: The brothers Rudolf and Adolf Dassler founded the company “Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik” (Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory) in their hometown Herzogenaurach, Germany. Unbeknownst to them, they place the founding stone of the world capital of sports shoes.
Within the town, they're not the only shoe factory. More, smaller factories are scattered throughout the town, though many did not manage to survive past the 1950s and 60s. The brothers started their factory in their parents' home in 1919, moving into its proper facility in 1924.
Within the first few years, both gain notoriety. A majority of German athletes wear Dassler spikes at the Olympic Summer Games in Amsterdam, 1928. In 1936, Jesse Owens wins four gold medals at the Olympic Games in Berlin, all while sporting Dassler spikes. More medals soon followed: seven gold and five bronze medals, all for world class athletes wearing Dassler shoes. The first records are smashed as well: two World and five Olympic records. Job Description:YOUR MISSION
- We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven accounting & controlling business process expert with SAP experience to join the Finance team in our Headquarters in Herzogenaurach. The role has a strong focus on banking (Bellin/COUPA).
- Be part of our Finance team driving one of the world’s first S/4 HANA Fashion projects for one of the most flexible, multi-cultural and fastest moving sports and fashion brands in the industry
- Analyze, improve, redesign accounting & controlling processes and manage their implementation in the existing SAP S/4 HANA Fashion solution
- Implement group accounting & controlling standards on one single global platform
- Drive the roll-out of the SAP S/4 HANA Fashion solution for FI/CO to subsidiaries globally.
YOUR TALENT
- University degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on Finance or several years of professional experience
- Several years of experience in accounting according to IFRS and knowledge of the underlying commercial processes in the areas of Accounting, Group Consolidation and Controlling
- SAP key user knowledge in SAP FI/CO (FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP, FI-AA, CO-PCA, CO-CCA, CO-PA)
- Experience with Cash Management, Banking and TMS integration (Bellin) considered as a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, German language skills are a plus
- Willingness to travel, team player, able to work under pressure, assertiveness.
