- Displays a structured approach to problem solving, employs the right tools and techniques to solve open-ended problems, and creates productized analytics solutions or frameworks independently.
- Develop data-driven solutions to business problems.
- Deep dive analysis of certain business problems using Machine Learning.
- Integrating data and building a data warehouse to automate Business Intelligence
- Conducting weekly forums, presenting insights from the reporting system
- Templates and dashboards for operational and management reporting using Excel and the intranet
- Ad hoc data extraction based on business requests
- Understanding the business environment
- Assessing metrics to be tracked according to business goals, exploring other metrics available for a better understanding of business performance
- Methods and models for the analysis of statistical data
- 4-6 years of experience with reporting and business intelligence systems
- Quick learner and able to work in a dynamic environment
- Team player and comfortable interacting with people from a variety of disciplines
- Advanced knowledge of modeling software such as R, Python, SAS, SPSS. Plans and develops data flow for analytics products;
- A proven ability to create dashboards, identify metrics, and lay them out; knowledge of UDP and Tableau building techniques; user-friendly data visualization expertise
- In addition to statistical techniques, applied knowledge of many commonly used ML, OR, other soft computation techniques such as - Random Forest, SVM, KNN, xGB (Gradient Boosting) - Apriority (association rules), Naïve Bayes Classification - Neural Nets, Genetic Algorithm - Integer and MILP Programming, Non Linear Optimizations - Advanced linear and non linear regression techniques - Advanced clustering techniques - Queueing techniques, Stochastic modeling and Simulation
