Job Description:
We are looking for experienced individuals to support the Army Pre-positioned Stock Sets and Theater Sustainment Stocks, assigned to the APS-5 Kuwait program. APS-5 Operational Readiness, Materiel Maintenance, Supply and Services, Transportation, Accountability, Care of Supplies in Storage, as well as related logistics analysis and management functions that support operations in Southwest Asia (SWA). This contract will be performed at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Leidos must win the contract to fill this position.
Principal Responsibilities
- The Program Manager is directly responsible for all aspects of contract performance and shall have the autonomy to execute the effort without interference from corporate management.
- Program Managers handle operations related to program support, including: contract, subcontract, finance, security, staffing, and procurement.
- Monitoring and managing program performance, risk, cost, and schedule; detecting any material deviations; and developing/implementing recovery plans as needed.
Qualifications: The basics
- A bachelor's degree plus 12 years of relevant work experience or a master's degree plus 10 years of relevant work experience in technical, professional, or management positions involving logistics operations.
- ISO and quality management system program level functions must be understood by the Program Manager.
- Have a SECRET security clearance.
- Leadership, planning, and motivational skills are excellent.
- Communication skills and the ability to build trust with customers.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and be flexible when priorities change.
- Demonstrates experience dealing with workforce complacency and poor performance.
