Job Description:
Responsibilities of a Technical Data Analyst
- Plan, lead and conduct independent analyses of data and trendoactively deliver insights on operational performance and drive improvement.
- Communicate business insights through presentations and reports.
- Analyze the root causes of key problems.
- Effectively plan and collaborate with a global team on data-driven initiatives to address complex operational problems.
- Support cross-functional operational needs with data expertise.
- Work with operations and data-focused teams within and outside of Business Planning and Operations to develop solutions.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the performance of a growing business.
Qualifications Minimum
- Data and analytical problem solving experience of five years or more
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
- Experience building impactful storytelling thought presentations
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of project management and experience leading cross-functional data-centric projects
- Extensive communication skills and experience explaining technical issues to both technical and business partners
Qualifications preferred
- Creating forecasting models in a technology company
- Experience with data visualization (Tableau, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience with cross-functional collaboration across multiple stakeholders
- Working knowledge of operations ecosystems
- Experience creating data infrastructure (e.g., ETL pipelines)
