The IS&T team at Apple is looking for highly motivated, extraordinary candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills and who can work effectively across multiple business and technical teams. Education & Experience:
B.Tech. degree in computer science or equivalent field with a minimum of 6+ years hands-on programming experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience designing, developing and implementing a highly available, distributed, and scalable transactional enterprise system is required.
- It is a prerequisite to have hands-on experience with Java/J2EE to build middleware and backend applications as well as experience with micro service architectures in a highly distributed environment with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SOA.
- Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle and NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB, Couch base, Elastic search.
- Troubleshooting skills and real world experience with systems deployment, as well as experience with rapid development cycles and demanding schedules.
- An understanding of or experience working on cloud technologies and Agile methodologies would be an asset.
- Expertise in stream processing frameworks such as Spark, Apache Kafka, or Flink is ideal.
