- Developing and testing devices
- A degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering
Responsibilities:
- Assist new and existing products in their design and development with solid technical skills.
- Assist in improving the quality, the manufacturing process, the supply chain and the cost of the products.
- Participate in the execution of technical and/or cross-functional project work.
- Assist in creating new product concepts and improvements to existing products to foster a culture of innovation.
- Reviewing literature, interviewing customers, observing them, evaluating prototypes, and conducting clinical/simulated studies to understand customer needs.
- Translation of customer requirements into product, packaging, and process specifications.
- By understanding and applying engineering principles, engineer robust and reliable products.
- Specify measurement equipment and tests, analyze measurement systems, and analyze data to develop and execute test methods.
- Conduct design verification analyses and tests in support of design changes and product design activities.
- Make sure that all local, state, federal, and client policies and procedures regarding quality, safety, and safety compliance are met.
- Experience in medical devices is preferred, preferably five years or more.
- Utilized computer analysis and statistical tools.
