Project Site Engineer – Kuwait

Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented.

In this role you will manage the project and site related activities in Kuwait. The job responsibilities shall be as follows:

• Project/Site management, closeout reporting, and related activities.
• The coordination of the external stakeholders (customers, suppliers) and the internal stakeholders (factories, procurement, tendering, engineering).
• Acquiring a thorough understanding of customer requirements.
• Evaluating and mitigating risks, and managing claims in accordance with the claims process in a timely manner.
• Resolving project/site-related issues with factories and hubs.
• It is your responsibility to ensure that the tender team hands over everything in a clear and understandable manner.
• To come up with the most optimal technical and commercial solution within the customer's requirements / specifications.
• Improving or maintaining the project / order profit through good claim management and variation orders with the assistance of internal team members.
• Provide assistance to colleagues/departments as needed, such as Siemens One, to foster interdepartmental communication.
• The ability to install and commission switchgear.
• Having the ability to analyze retrofitting of MV equipment.
• The project leader should support the HSSE leaders.
• An understanding of Kuwait's market and customers (MEW, MPW, K-Companies).

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid.

• Engineer with 5-7 years experience in the Oil & Gas Sector, Utility Sector, or Infrastructure Sector with a reputable organization.
• Demonstrate strong networks within the Oil & Gas / Utilities / Infrastructure sectors in Kuwait.
• Applicants must have a minimum of e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation skills and PMP certification is an asset.
• Demonstrate innovation, initiative, maturity, and accountability.
