Job Description:

Civil/Structural Engineer

In our engineering team, we are looking for engineers with the flexibility, enthusiasm, and analytical skills to work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment. Supervisors and contractors are required in this multidisciplinary role. Defining the scope of the work, verifying design criteria, managing schedules, costs, and progress are all tasks you will perform. Calculate and manage budget estimates, scope, and schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Examinants work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and that it is of an acceptable quality.
• Manages the quality of work while observing progress at the site.
• Direction and decision-making in technical areas.
• Ensures that construction and design are in compliance.
• Communicates frequently with the Client, Consultants, and Contractors.
• Informs engineering and project management of any delays, scope changes, or other problems that may impact the completion of the project.
• Adds, deletes, or edits the scope of work of change orders.
• Methods of design, equipment selection, etc. are recommended.
• In addition to the duties associated with this position, performs any other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• An accredited 4-year degree in structural or civil engineering.
• Civil/structural engineer with at least ten years' experience in design and construction of infrastructure projects.
• An understanding of codes, construction manuals, and design principles.
• Communicate well in writing and orally.
• Technical expertise in key roles.
• A thorough understanding of industry regulations and practices.
• Technology expertise and knowledge of how to apply it effectively in the project.
