For our Trauma / CMF R&D department in our EMEA headquarters (Zuchwil) we are looking for a highly committed.

 

Internships in R&D for Engineering Students (6-12 months)

Interns are expected to participate in all aspects of product development. The position provides an in-depth understanding of the medical device industry and requirements relating to product development and maintenance.

 Tasks:

• R&D team members gain experience as product development engineers and work with an interdisciplinary team of project managers. 
• According to the status of the project, this may include working through various phases, i.e. conceptualization, design, development, implementation, marketing release, and technical support. 
• In addition to getting an in-depth overview of the exciting aspects of medical device development during your internship, you will also make a direct contribution towards the well-being of patients around the world.

Qualifications:

• If you do not have a degree (FH, ETH, minimum of one year of study) in industrial engineering, biotechnology, or similar, but you are interested in product development and medical devices, this job is not After learning about mechanics, dimensioning, computing, and analyzing products during your studies, you are now looking for ways to put your skills into practice. 
• Your knowledge German (oral and written) and English are two of your Your strongest languages; and you have experience with Matlab and/or Phyton.
