In Kuwait, Honeywell Connected Enterprise is seeking an Advanced Project Engineer.
The work you'll be assigned will include ongoing projects, application upgrades, and support for incidents. The successful performance of this job requires extensive professional competence and skills in proactively coordinating work with the customer, Honeywell offices and contractors.
Deliverables include design input, tools, documentation, deliverables, and an input to the schedule. Our project team requires an individual who can function independently and perform a variety of tasks as required.
Advanced Project Engineer Responsibilities:
- As a senior application engineer, you are responsible for successfully delivering MES projects and services on time, on budget, in alignment with client expectations, and to the complete satisfaction of the client. State-of-the-art technology should be used to unlock the targeted business value. Specialized applications (For example, B2B integration such as ERP).
- Working in the field of Industrial IT (including SQL Server, Oracle, networking, web services, and programming languages).
- Delivering MES services and projects by utilizing leading technological advances.
- Participation in the Business Process Study with the Business Consultant and Technical Lead to drive Honeywell's standard MES solutions.
- As required by the business, provide 24 /7 support. Document incident resolution learnings by following the support procedure.
- Verification and/or approval of project / service documentation.
- Standardizing technical solutions and project & support execution to drive productivity and quality.
- Assist the local and global engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery and high quality deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Computer Science / IT related.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English and Arabic).
- Having worked in the process automation industry.

- Holding appropriate industrial IT technology certificates (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, HTML5, ISA 99 Control System Security Standard, XML Services and state-of-the-art Programming Languages.
- Plant historian knowledge (PHD, IP21, OSI PI) is preferred.
