About the Company:

Job Description:

• The MEP Site Engineer–Electrical is tasked with organizing, supervising, executing, monitoring, and controlling the electrical installation activities associated with MEP works, which include Lighting, Small Power, and ELV systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. He must integrate the electrical works while considering energy efficiency and ESCO-related activities within the building.

Job Responsibilities

• Review the approved construction drawings and ensure that the necessary approvals and documentation for the site installation works are present on-site.
• Derive the schedule of electrical work packages from the overall MEP Project schedules and prepare for the execution of site works.
• Plan the site resource and material requirements, coordinating the delivery of materials and other resources in accordance with the schedules.
• Manage the site resources, execution, progress, and productivity of electrical works.
• Evaluate the material requirements on-site and compare them with the bill of materials provided.
• Oversee the team of Supervisors, Foreman, and Charge Hands to ensure the execution of works aligns with the approved schedules.
• Set targets, monitor, and control the site electrical works, ensuring that the tasks are completed within the budgeted quantities of materials, plant & equipment, and labor.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for electrical installations and with other subcontractors for interface works.
• Engage in coordination with client and authority engineers for the execution of site works.
• Interact and coordinate with stores for the collection of materials in line with the project schedule.

Job Requirements
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of experience Or
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP project electrical installation works for residential and commercial towers and industrial buildings.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in MEP project electrical installation works in the UAE or any other GCC countries.
• Experience in the ESCO industry.
