Your role and responsibilities

• IBM is a leading provider of global hybrid cloud and AI, and consulting expertise. 
• It helps clients in more than 175 countries capitalize on insights from their data, streamline business processes, reduce costs, and gain the competitive edge in their industries. 
• As a Data Engineer in IBM's Public Sector Account, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data processing systems and architectures. 
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement data solutions that meet business requirements.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
• Develop data processes and ETL pipelines to support analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across all systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and IT professionals to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
• Implement measures to ensure data privacy and security in line with relevant laws and regulations.
• Contribute to the development of data standards and best practices.
