Job Description:

Operational:
  • Design and implement recruitment plan for the positions assigned by the Line Manager.
  • Perform job and market analysis to ensure right talents are sourced and also accountable to keep abreast with employment terms and conditions
  • Support development and implement recruitment strategies to undertake selection campaigns overseas and locally to attract suitably qualified and experienced candidates
  • Responsible to apply the best practices and methodology in sourcing recruitment agencies, measuring the service standards of 3rd party suppliers and feeding back information from campaigns to ensure service level agreements are maintained.
  • Contributes to the planning and resourcing strategy implementation for MATAR requirements. Responsible to apply the best practices and methodology in sourcing/headhunting
  • Supports the development and maintenance of a central resource of assessment methodologies to promote consistency and best practice in competency testing techniques against Job Descriptions.
  • Represent MATAR/HIA to the external market with our employer brand positioning.
  • Accountable for the Implementation of generic templates for campaign data collection, produce weekly reports for clients and SM on candidate progress and success ratios.
  • Responsible for recruiting the most suitable candidates. as per approved manpower budgets to ensure adequate manning of all departments.
  • Ensure that the offers of Employment are issued within set time frames after receipt of approved staff requisition.
  • Ensure screening of applications to shortlist candidates for selection process.
  • Responsible for the developing of proper interview/joining arrangements. Confidentiality, tact, and discretion when dealing with people.
  • Effectively supporting the legal requirements and procedures to secure and protect the business interest of Company in matters pertaining to recruitment and joining of candidates.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

  • Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise
  • Keep abreast with any market trends and developments
  • Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.
  • Train and develop other employees, for proper succession planning and risk management.

  • Ensure that in performance of the role, all uses, disclosures and requests of any information (in any form) are done in accordance with data protection principles adopted by the QR Group and are limited to what is reasonably required to accomplish the intended business purposes of the use, disclosure or request.
  • Comply with all relevant company policies and procedures regarding the use, processing, disclosure and security of any information (in any form) and ensure that all staff under my direct supervision are aware of and comply
  • Consult the Group's Data Protection Officer in matters related to data protection and privacy as appropriate.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, security and protection of all information handled in the course of duties is maintained at all times from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, deletion/destruction, corruption, modification, inspection or recording.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience Essential
  • Experience in Volume based Recruitment in a multinational environment
  • Experience in conducting interviews, hands on experience with various selection processes
  • Hands on experience with applicant tracking systems Preferred
  • Experience working in agencies

Job Specific Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and team working skills
  • Well-developed lateral and analytical thinking skills
  • Must have the initiative to solve recruitment problems, constantly interacting with Recruitment Officers, Line departments, and candidates.
  • Must be sensitive to significant information about candidates that come up in the selection process.
