The Position
The IBM Z DevOps team is seeking an experienced Front end developers with VS code extension exp. who has Experience in building and shipping front-end applications written in TypeScript/JavaScript, ReactJs.
You will take technical ownership of new features and capabilities for our solution and provide architectural, design and implementation leadership for these features. In this capacity, you will work closely with the architecture and UX Design teams, and you will guide junior software engineers in the agile implementation of high-quality deliverables.

- 5+ years of professional experience working as a software developer
- VS code IDE foundation (Editor, Lang, Debug, Explorer, Plugin extensions)
- Essential requirements
- Experience building and shipping front-end applications written in TypeScript/JavaScript (TypeScript preferred)
- Experience building user experiences with ReactJs
- Very familiar with modern development tools and methods such as VS Code, Git, GitHub/GitLab, Travis, Behavior-Driven Development, Scrum, SAFE, or equivalent
- Hardcore VS Code user
- Expert knowledge in automated building and packaging Nodejs applications
- Experience building and shipping VS Code extensions
- Experience building Java enterprise applications
- Experience building and shipping developer tools and DevX solutions
- Full-stack development experience shipping application with Typescript-based front ends with Java-based backends
- Experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs
- Experience with Cloud-native development workflows, tools, and technologies
- UX Design experience is preferred.
