Job Description:
Quality Engineering &Assurance (QEA) is a centralised Quality function within the Shared Technology that provides testing governance, standard, policy, guidelines, drive quality improvements and consulting support to the entire organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the UAT and Business Acceptance Testing for the weekly/monthly releases.
- Work with the business team to understand the flows and functionality to be tested
- Manage test case design and test execution for UAT and BAT
- Manage testing in UAT, Pre-Prod, and Production environments.
- Support overnight production deployments by conducting the BAT
- Defect reporting
- Risk and Issues reporting
Skills required:
- Strong working experience in UAT and Business Acceptance testing.
- Good hands-on experience in NetCracker
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the Software testing life cycle, testing processes, frameworks, and defect management
- Experience working in the telecom domain
- Experience in testing Digital applications
- Experience working in the UAT, pre-prod, and Prod environments
- Good communication and experience in working with multiple teams including business.
- Good understanding of OSS and BSS
- Understanding of the go-live processes and willingness to work night shifts
- Should be able to articulate and manage the risks and dependencies for critical releases.
