Job Description:
Are you a creative graphic designer that gravitates toward engineering, environmental, construction or architecture related projects? Parsons is seeking a Graphic Designer who has interest in designing and preparing moderately complex art and copy layouts utilizing client standards and formats.
What You'll Be Doing
- Producing strategic design work to support in the development and production of winning proposals, sales materials, and presentations
- The above will also include long document layouts, PowerPoint presentations, story boards, covers/dividers, marketing collateral/brochures, illustrations, interactive PDFs, ads, and digital media
- Works with the proposal team, technical staff to reinforce messaging as you plan, create, and design attractive and impactful graphics.
- Design according to Parsons’s global brand guidelines and those of our clients.
- Collaborate with creative team locally and internationally to exchange ideas and improve processes.
- Approach your task with flexibility by adjusting to varying demands and/or altering priorities.
- Coordinate and/or advise on the print and digital requirements of documents.
What Required Skills You Will Bring
- Associate's or equivalent degree in Graphic Design or certificate of completion from an accredited design/graphics course
- Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design, working on presentations and proposals
- Proven ability to visually depict accurate information and project concepts when developing graphics and creating presentations
- Technical competent in software such as Adobe CS4, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, AfterEffects and Microsoft
- Familiarity and interest in engineering, environmental, construction or architecture projects
