- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
- Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
- Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation
- Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
- Arranging scheduled upgrades
- Investigating faults in the network
- Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
- Reporting network status to key stakeholders
- Extensive Voice systems administration experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of Voice network system requirements and standards.
- Knowledge, experience, and leadership around Voice Network technologies, including the following: Corporate Telephony - Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity Voicemail, Voice Gateways, // Cisco Unified Communications/Voice Conferencing/Webex. // Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE/ICM/CVP), Call Recording, Voice conferencing and collaboration // Carrier Management. // Any background in Data Network technologies such as routers, switches and firewalls is a plus. // Protocols: TCP/IP, IP subnetting, VLAN’s, Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, QoS, SIP, H.323
- Experience as a Server and Systems administrator
- In depth understanding of technology systems in the enterprise
- Excellent experience using different Hypervisors, and VMware especially in Nutanix System
- Virtual clustering and troubleshooting experience in Nutanix System VMware
- Strong technology analytical and design skills
- Excellent business continuity and disaster recovery methodologies and practice
- Lead the integration of various complex enterprise level servers and systems
- Manage and administer servers and systems to ensure system integrity
- Plan, design, and implement identified
- special technology projects
- Manage the preparation of technical and functional documentations for required systems
- Proactively monitor backups, storage and server logs
- Stay abreast of latest technology and work on potential upgrades
- Ideally, you'll hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology related field of study with a network engineering focus. i.e. Computer science, Computer software/computer systems engineering, Computer systems and networks and Network security management…etc.
- With 5 to 7 years relevant experience as a Network Engineer.
- Fluent in English is required.
