- Reports to the Senior Engineer – Spare Part & Inventory Management.
- Perform QAQC (qualitative & quantitative) checks on SPIR Vendor submitted SPIR Templates/document, manage and closes all identified QAQC gaps in collaboration with discipline Engineer and Vendor.
- Act as the responsible interface for all related SPIRs with Vendor and Project Team.
- Be responsible to adequately review and ensure that line items in each SPIR meets the BOM Build requirements for the expected life cycle of asset.
- Ensure that all spare types (Commissioning, Initial 2Yrs and Normal Operating spares) are adequately provided for by Vendor/Manufacturer.
- Ensure to identify and SAP Code Capital Spares and Surplus materials if and where applicable as an upfront task.
- Perform final QA/QC on reviewed SPIR.
- Liaise with client Spare part providing supporting and resolving all queries through entire life of the project.
- Interface with SAP PM Team to ensure manufacturer information in asset register and SPIR Template are matched to avoid BOM linking related issue.
- Utilize EDW to ensure all equipment and instruments where SPIR Form is required are properly identified and aligned.
- Be responsible to populate and track the standard SPIR Line Items versus BOM Tracking dashboard to reflect clear visibility of progress till completion and close-out.
- Provide support to maintenance & integrity Team in the delivery of M&I scope as related to SPIR activities.
- Able quickly learn and use inventory and Spares processing software (SAP MM etc.).
- Degree in discipline specific engineering B.Sc./B.Eng.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- PC literate, work tight schedules.
- Competent experience in using Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Access database and PPT tools.
- Excellent Client & Vendor management skills.
- An Engineers, with a minimum of 5yrs in oil & gas.
- Hands-on knowledge in SPIR, SCE selection and implementation in SPIR Templates.
- Knowledge in Inventory cleansing and material management.
- Knowledge on multi discipline spare parts Management.
- Reliable ability to read and understand engineering documents (PEFS, PFS, P&ID, SLD, GAD, CAE Diagrams, Electrical Catalogues, various layout drawing etc.) for the purpose to identify and extract engineering Tags.
- Able to verify that Tags in SPIR are matched with EDW database.
- Able to convert engineering Tags into Equipment & Instrument Function Locations as maybe required in the SPIR form.
- Able to coordinate the BOM linking of spares to Function Locations in SAP.
- Adequately understands the general SPIR process flow chart.
