About the Company:

Job Description:

        Cleaning, testing, maintaining, prepping and repairing equipment prior to carrying out a job
Monitoring and repairing equipment during shows and any required fault finding
Building and installing equipment on site unsupervised, according to designated layout
Setting up and operating systems/equipment for smaller projects (i.e. running small- to medium-sized shows)

• Loading and unloading of equipment
• Cleaning of equipment after shows and storing properly
• Rigging and de-rigging of all equipment safely
• Working as part of a team on and off site
• Interacting directly with clients on site in a customer-oriented manner
• Performing annual inventory of equipment as per the set procedures in place
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and wearing the appropriate PPE
• Reporting all heath and safety issues to the Project Manager, Head of Discipline, and Health and Safety Manager

Required Education and/or Qualifications and Skills:

• Good written and spoken English
• Technical degree, or related on-the-job experience
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal skills
• Problem solving and fault-finding skills
• Good understanding of safety and HSE guidelines/working at height
• Basic understanding of reading technical plans
• Ability to follow equipment lists to prepare technical equipment leaving the warehouse to a high standard
• Understanding of production and events industry

Required Skills/ Qualification:

• 2-3 years: Experience and basic knowledge of LED screens construction and programming, and the ability to understand and follow video schematics at a basic level
• 2-3 years: Experience and good understanding of basic video formats and signals, projection calculations and the ability to decide which lenses are most appropriate for any particular video set-up
