Job Description:

• As an Application Support Engineer, you will be part of an energetic and enthusiastic technical team. In your position, you will solve incidents by providing a quick response.

As an Application Support Engineer, you will:

• monitor the system performance and identify issues that arise
• manage our complex application landscape of our ERP, WMS, and financial systems
• assist the DBA in database performance tuning
• join the performance team to discuss complex queries and implement solutions for the rest of the system components
• be involved in the project to migrate the existing On-premise environment to the cloud (Azure)
• support other teams and manage the OTAP environments
• solve incidents and provide a swift response to system monitors, alerts, and escalations
• manage jobs, queues, and printers in the application (e.g. in the ERP system)
• support the functional teams with drafting RFCs so that they are technically substantiated for the developers

This is you

• Due to your strong background as an Application Support Engineer, you manage our applications quickly. You are proactive, tech-driven and think in solutions.

You:

• have a bachelor’s degree in IT or computer science
• have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• have experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Database, and Azure Cosmos DB (No-SQL)
• have knowledge of Microsoft server, IIS, Redis, and RabbitMQ
• are specialised in resolving complex problems in our application landscape
• have an analytic mindset and good problem-solving skills
• have excellent verbal and written communication skills
