Job Description

• Lead, Manage, & Oversee the performance, and supervision of the maintenance team in routine HVAC maintenance and repairs to ensure the completion of all HVAC repair work within the agreed plan.
• Lead, Manage, Coordinate, and Monitor the execution of the Preventive and Corrective maintenance activities of all HVAC equipment/systems, adhering to the company’s QHSE policy.
• Accountable for preparation, review, & approval of PTW/MOS/SOW/RA/JSA, TBT, Daily/Weekly/Monthly Report, and other supporting documents as per job requirement. Generate all kinds of reports, condition reports, and renovation reports.
• Accountable for preparation, review, and approval of Asset Capturing, Asset Register, & Asset management for the HVAC Systems.
• Accountable for preparation, review, and approval of Annual PPM Maintenance Schedule, Asset Condition, & Life Cycle Report for the Chiller & HVAC Systems.
• Accountable for preparation, review, and approval of Annual Budgets for the HVAC Systems.
• Accountable for preparation, review, and approval of Quotations, Invoices, and PO/LPO for the Chiller & HVAC Systems.
• Accountable for preparation, review, and approval of RFP, and AMC for the HVAC Systems.
• Accountable for the maintenance activities of all CHILLER & HVAC field equipment.
• Reports faults and identifies requirements for overhauls.
• Implementing isolation and de-isolation of CHILLER & HVAC equipment. -
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Inspect CHILLER & HVAC systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Test HVAC systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of HVAC system.
• Maintain current mechanical or electrical license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
• Review Plan layout and installation of HVAC wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• Lead, Manage, & Oversee CHILLER & HVAC maintenance team and instruct them on their responsibility, which includes training new team members.
• Follow a preventative cleaning and maintenance program.
• Monitor energy consumption.
• Lead, Manage, & Oversee HVAC maintenance team to ensure a clean safe, and healthy work environment including but not limited to technical plants, engineering offices, and workshops.
• Attend and participate in the daily engineering meetings.
• Lead, Manage, & oversee the maintenance of HVAC Systems such as AIR-COOLED & WATER COOLED CHILLERS, FAHU, AHU, FCU, DX Type Package Units, Split AC Units, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Motors, Dosing Systems, Compressors, VAV/VRF/VFD Systems, CPM/BMS Systems, and Cold Store systems.
• Accountable to read and review HVAC drawings for maintenance and troubleshooting requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in HVAC Systems such as AIR-COOLED & WATER COOLED CHILLERS, FAHU, AHU, FCU, DX Type Package Units, Split AC Units, Heat Exchanger, Pumps, Motors, Dosing Systems, Compressors, VAV/VRF/VFD Systems, CPM/BMS Systems, and Cold Store systems.
• Work experience in the above similar HVAC systems typically for around 5 years.
• Past experience in (District cooling plant) water-cooled chillers, cooling tower operations, and maintenance as an advantage.
• Knowledge of CAFM system, KPI & SLA.
• Good reporting skills.
• Gulf Region experience preferred.
