• What you will do
• The Channel Sales Engineer, Building Management System will be reporting directly to the Regional Product Director, Global Products Middle East and Africa and based in Dubai. As part of a growing team your responsibilities will include driving sales growth and meeting the sales targets assigned in the region.
• You will be part of Global Products Indirect organization operating through Channel partners. Responsibilities include growing JCI market share via new channels as well as end customers such as, contractors and consultants and other decision makers. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to generate new business.

How you will do it

• As a Channel Sales Engineer, you will be accountable develop new channels as well as handle and grow existing business. This includes supporting your Channel Partners in to identify, qualify and close new business opportunities. You’ll demonstrate your expertise by differentiating Johnson Controls extended controls portfolio, demonstrating your market knowledge of our competitor’s products and services. You shall be the focal point between Johnson Controls and Channel Partners broader organization to collaborate on growth strategies and deliver the assigned targets.
• Your key responsibilities are to seek and develop long term partnership and customer relationships and drive your assigned territory growth. You need to be focused and consistent in your approach to work, running multiple priorities simultaneously with the accurate, and time management skills.

What we look for

• Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Channel sales in Building Management Systems within the GCC region.
• Proven track record of delivering sales.
• Ability to design technical solutions, select equipment and advise customers on solutions.
• Resolved, results driven, strong sales drive
• Preferred
• Previous experience in Channel Sales in Middle East
• Minimum -3 5 years of channel sales experience in BMS & Controls portfolio
• Experience in using Sales Force
