- We are looking for a senior engineer with a long history working as a Linux Systems Administrator (on multiple flavors of Linux, Windows desirable) who has changed career paths with a more recent focus on DevOps Engineering. In this position you will need to have solid Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD and Python skills in addition to your strong background as a Linux Systems Administrator.
- 10+ years of experience working as a Linux Systems Administrator
- 10+ Years of experience with Linux platform and fundamentals
- 10+ years of experience with Data Center technologies
- 7+ years of experience with Networking including LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, SNMP, DHCP
- 5+ years of experience with VMware
- 5+ years of experience with Python
- 5+ years of experience with Ansible
- 5+ years of experience with Terraform
- 5+ years of experience with CI/CD for testing Ansible and Terraform
- 5+ years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- 5+ years of experience working in a SDLC type framework
- Spinnaker experience desired
- Windows automation experience desired
- Flexibility of thought and an ability to pick up new tech quickly
- Ability and experience with following up with other teams, asking for resources or escalating issues
- Strong sense of ownership, writing tests, prizing code quality, documentation
