- Own the key fulfillment system cost driver inputs that decides how and where we optimally fulfill customer orders from in our network
- Working with Central SMEs, Finance, Planning, FC, Middle and Last Mile operations teams, identify opportunities to lower total fulfillment cost whilst improving customer experience
- Conduct simulations to model the impact of new configurations prior to execution. Effectively communicate change and monitor post implementation to assess effectiveness and lower the risk of unforeseen outcomes
- Own key input and output metrics for fulfillment cost and own a program of actions that drive improvement to deliver best in class operations.
- Dive deep into data using Amazon simulation tools to identify opportunities to improve fulfillment strategy considering cost, speed, and network design
- Effectively communicating, collaborating and influencing team members, working with other business groups, and presenting projects to senior leadership on a regular basis
- Partner with the global teams on system feature/logic improvements, and with local team on process improvements;
- Initiate and support the implementation of process-improvements, both the business processes and the technical solutions.
- Degree in Statistics, Ops Research, Mathematics, Economics, Business or similar
- 2+ years of experience in delivering and influencing business processes using data analysis, modelling and forecasting
- Proven experience of working in a fast-paced, highly complex analytical environment preferably in Supply Chain, e-Commerce, Consulting or Finance
- Able to write SQL scripts for analysis and reporting ( SQL, MySQL)
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
- Attention to detail and high ability for data mining
- Creative and ideas-driven in finding new solutions/ designing innovative methods, systems and processes
- 5+ years of experience in analytics/project/program management and facilitation of large cross-functional teams in business operations and technology process improvement areas
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Logistics / Supply Chain / Mathematics / Science / Engineering
- Highly analytical and capable of communicating effectively with customers and senior management
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
