Description:
- Take the requirement from the client or project manager
- Coordinate the R&D designs of new projects
- 75% software requirement
- Do the risk analysis to ensure feasibility and ROI on product.
- Put the product requirement into system requirement and specification (If not done already done by the client)
- Verify that design input and user needs are respected in the system requirement.
- Discuss with the team and elaborate a strategy of development.
- Develop the test strategy, performance and analysis to ensure the respect of system requirements
- Follow up during the project to ensure the product meets all system requirement.
- During the project, the System Engineer will have to ensure the cost is respected (BOM, man hours, deviation from the projects, Extra work not part of the original SOW)
- The system engineer will become the technical expert of a product and give technical presentation to customer as well as recommendations.
- Participate in all design reviews and develops standard that will be re-used for different systems.
Top Skills Details:
- Bachelors or Masters in Biomedical engineering or experience in the medical industry
- 1+ years of experience in system level design
- 1+ years of experience in risk analysis
- Experience with testing with heavy documentation/highly regulated industry
Additional Skills and Experience:
- Bilingual
- ISO 13485
- Standard: IEC 62304 or d0-178b or CMMI
Additional Information:
Work Environment: Hybrid work setting
Pay Rate: Dependent on experience and qualifications
Duration: Minimum of 12 months with a likely chance of further extension
