About the Company:

Job Description:

• Execution of projects by following the engineering & commissioning workflow as per QMS defined.
• Prepare, study and analyze existing system and work on revamp/retrofit solutions.
• Understanding requirements of sub-system and coordinating with other engineering departments in getting it delivered as per application requirement.
• Ensure preparation of technical specifications are in line with project specifications signed with customer.
• Preparation/approval of basic engineering drawings like SLD, GA, IGA, fabrication drawings etc., in case of building stand-alone drive panels (especially for cranes).
• Perform technical review before document submission to ensure that delivered documents are as per the customer technical specification.
• Carry out technical risk reviews and ensure risks are mitigated with clear actions. escalate to team lead on time.
• Work closely with cross function/ LBU teams to achieve customer acceptance.
• Work closely with consultants and ensure timely approval of project drawings.
• Lead development of application control software, necessary graphics & get the Factory acceptance test conducted successfully for own area of responsibility. Get the Engineering Quality Index audits are carried out for projects.

Your background

• Minimum B.Tech/ B.E/ Diploma from a reputed University with First Class in Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical & Electronics engineering.
• 5-6 years of relevant work experience in Automation systems & controls with relevant process experience in Cement/Mining/Metals/Pulp & Paper.
• Knowledge of DCS/ PLC HW/SW Components.
• Knowledge of IT/ Network/ Peripherals like UPS, Printer, PC’s, Server components of DCS.
• Knowledge in application programming & HMI development/ modifications for PLC/ DCS systems for processes like Cement/Mining/Metals/Pulp & Paper.
• Knowledge on different communication protocols used between PLC & Drives or in automation.
• Knowledge of below ABB systems is added advantage. ABB automation systems like 800xA, Advant, Compact HMI etc.
