Job Description:
- Capex preparation for Infrastructure, greenfield, Brownfield projects
- • Civil and structural cost estimation
- • Detailed engineering of civil and structure part, Preparing BOQ and floating the tender for civil & structure work
- • New contractor development , including proper evaluation critirea for selection
- • Review / approve basic drawing for statutory requirement, i.e. GIDC & Factory approval with help of consultant
- • Review and approve all civil and architechural drawing submitted by detailed engineering consultant
- • Plan and work out necessary infrastructure requirement for project and finalize scope.
- • Review and work out BOQ, finalize tender document.
- • TCS of all civil contractors and finalize contractor.
- • Project Execution planning in consultation with Execution lead
- •Review the discipline related technical documentation for the project.
- •Interact with Project Managers, other discipline Leads and Site Construction Manager to understand issues, concerns and support requirements.
- •Review all discipline related technical documentation for the project, including validation of civil and structural SOPs and guidelines
- •Review of analysis, design and drawings of open/ pile/ mat foundations and superstructure for RCC structures including process buildings, utility buildings and equipment foundations.
- •Review of design and detailing of steel structures including process plants, pipe racks and equipment supporting structures.
- •Review/checking of proposal documents and man-hour estimation for civil items for plant structures.
- •Review and approve project design criteria, standards and the calculation.
- •Provide technical expert advice on designs.
- •Provide technical solution for site related problems and issue design changes during construction
- •Distributing / allocating of civil resources to various projects , reviewing thier preparation and guiding them on regular basis. • Develop stratergies for improvement of productivity , sourcing new civil contractors and evaluating their performance •Ensure safety and QAP compliance and management of conflict resolution between contractors
- • Ensure that all the task-force engineers produce their design deliverables to meet safety in design and technical integrity expectations within the available time-frame.
- • Coordination with the Client, Other Discipline Lead Engineer, Project Executing Team and Vendors to solve technical problems, provide practical solutions and raise alternative Design Proposals, Optimization Studies, Budget and Schedule control. •Ensure all the civil and structural activities are performed w.r.t project specific documents and conforming to contractual
