Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!
- The Motion Control Service Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, commissioning and troubleshooting of Motion Control Low Voltage drives, motors and Automation system for a variety of industrial applications predominantly in the Water Industry, Petrochemicals and Oil & Gas sectors.
- Product selection, engineering and commissioning of Drives and Drive Applications.
- Should have knowledge on Motors and their selection and applications.
- Should have basic knowledge of Siemens Automation products and systems.
- Installation and configuration, and documentation.
- Should be able to visit site – extensive travel and be able to take independent decisions while solving issues at site.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical and Electronics engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Siemens Drives, Motion Control Applications and Basic Automation systems
- Hands on experience in commissioning, and troubleshooting of Drive & Automation Systems
- Knowledge on Motors – Selection and application
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as good presentation skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel
- Must be highly motivated and a team player; must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity
- Must be available to respond for emergency and relief assignments

- SIMATIC MICRO-DRIVE
- SINAMICS DCM
- SIMOTICS
- Discontinued Products (e.g. Simoreg DC-Master, Masterdrive, Dynavert)
- Engineering and implementation of Drive Technology applications mainly based on SINAMICS Drive Control Chart (DCC) or Open Architecture (OA / SINAMICS TEC)
- SIMOTION SCOUT, SCOUT standalone and SCOUT TIA
- Basics of SIMATIC S7-400, S7-300, S7-1200 PLC Systems and WinCC SCADA System
